Ollie Garrod
Sub-elite athlete, World Record Holder 🌎 (40 miles in 3:45:07), English Record Holder 🏴 (50km in 2:51:26), Team GB Athlete 🇬🇧 (100km).
Ollie is Surrey born and bred. He grew up in Epsom and attended CLFS in Ashtead. He originally got into running as a lanky fourteen year old - a little cheesed-off at being on the receiving end of constant rugby batterings. This was the catalyst for popping along to the Epsom and Ewell Harriers track, one fine day, and the rest is history.
His debut marathon came in London in 2014 during his final year at Exeter University and his current PB stands at 2:23:39. Ollie has also represented England and Great Britain over 100km and the 6-Hour event.
Like many of us, he has a long love affair with Parkrun but (unlike us) he now proudly holds the global title for “most first finishes” by a male athlete.
Yet Ollie also is also a qualified accountant, has audited a number organisations across a range of industries and delivers professional training to many companies.
Work vs healthy activity is not necessarily a choice nor a compromise. Nobody embodies that better than Ollie. This makes him able to provide some great, actionable insights to any corporate audience.
